We had the opportunity to witness Gryffin tear up the decks here in Atlanta before the release of this incredible sophomore effort, “Alive.” The multi-instrumentalist, producer, and DJ did not hold back at Domaine Atlanta two weeks ago. He played a set that had the entire club shaking. The new floor to ceiling Domaine installed led the audience to fully come “Alive.” If you get a chance to check out the venue, definitely recommend you do so.
The new album is filled to the brim with 14 masterful songs accompanied with an intro and interlude. The collaborations on this album will catch your eye because how well they mesh with Gryffin’s sound. I mean who wouldn’t want to hear the likes of Kygo, Tinashe, MØ, Elley Duhé, OneRepublic, and more over the soundscapes that Gryffin has paved a way for. His combination of electronic, pop, and indie textures have matured over the years and this is beyond anything he has ever done. A huge bravo from us to you Dan. Keep doing what you do best.
