While he may have popped on our radar as a promising talent making a name for himself in the world of drum & bass, Toronto’s Bensley has proven he is much more than a one-trick pony who is not afraid to venture outside the box with no genres being off-limits during a studio session.
Inviting listeners on a quick trip down memory lane with his latest original, “No Problems” serves as a nod to the 2010 era of dubstep and UK garage being a production coming equipped with bouncy drums, murky melodies and wobbling basslines creating a truly uplifting listening experience.
“This one is a bit of an homage to early 2010 dubstep and UK garage, which was my gateway into the electronic music world. I’ve tried to incorporate the bouncy drums and wobbling basslines that are symbolic of that era, while staying true to my own style and bringing it up to date with current production standards. Hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it,” Bensley explains.
