Diving deeper into the song’s background, ARMNHMR explains, “‘Sun Comes Up On You’ is just a feel-good song. The last few months of the pandemic have been hard for a lot of people, and we thought that the music world needed something that inspired hope. This song is a love letter to the one person, or thing, that kept you inspired in a time when it was needed most.”
