Those who are fans of TWO LANES or the forward-thinking bitbird imprint, you may remember these two dropping one of their first singles on the label with their “Never Enough.” Well, the brothers have returned with the counterpart of their successful single unveiling “Another Time” to the world.
Picking up right where “Never Enough” ends (literally), “Another Time” serves as the perfect sequel once again fusing acoustic instruments with electronic elements to create a stunning piece of production.
“We don’t always get everything we want and hope for,” Kwesi says about the new track. “Another Time is about looking to the future and knowing that if we put our heart and mind in the right place, maybe there *is* some time and place for those things to actually happen.”
“With Kwesi we tend to approach songs very freely by just recording loose melody ideas and later fill in the words. The lyrics contain mostly metaphors, expressing an overall longing and emotional-melancholic vibe,” TWO LANES explains.
