When the Norwegian gents sent over their new tune, I was expecting a good record. What did I receive? A record that reminds me why I fell in love with dance music back in 2009. That was 11 years ago man. “All We Are” wastes no time in establishing itself as that single you can play mainstage Tomorrowland, driving in your car on a spontaneous road trip, or enjoying a effervescent beach day in Ibiza.
This may be the first single from the duo after a long hiatus, but there will be several more releasing soon. The duo, comprised of Henrik Sæter and Ole Pedersen discovered their shared love for Avicii and Swedish House Mafia. Growing up in the same neighborhood made it easy for them to start making music together back in 2010.
Seven years ago, Richello started releasing remixes on SoundCloud that quickly gained several million streams on the platform. They were well received on YouTube with support from the channel Proximity (3.8 billion views and 8.5 million followers on their channel) with over seven million views on one of their remixes.
Since then, Richello has spent years in the studio refining their sound as well as studying at LIMPI, a Norwegian music school with mentors such as Tor Erik Hermansen (one half of GRAMMY award-winning producer duo StarGate), Emily Warren (Singer/songwriter working with The Chainsmokers, Dua Lipa, Shawn Mendes) and Espen Lind (Artist & Singer/songwriter, working with Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Train).
Are you ready to welcome the future of dance music? We sure are and we can’t wait for them to be touring the world for all to enjoy.
