This is my first time hearing from producer Listenbee. He doesn’t have much information on where he is from or his background but we are loving what we are hearing. He decided to team up with one of our favorite groups, Cosmos & Creature that is comprised of Brandyn Burnette and Molly Moore. As I have said so many times before, there aren’t too many groups that have as much potential as this duo. The collaboration resulted in “Children” that is pure at its core. The track is incredible additive and will have you listening several times. Listenbee had a few words to say about the record. You can read those below.
The song reminds me of conversations with my dad, when he would tell me, “Even in my seventies deep down I still feel like that nine-year old boy playin jacks.” I want Children to touch the inner child in us all, and remind us that age is just a number. I had a lot of fun making this record, I even got my daughter Nadia to lay down some vox. I hope y’all enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it.
