In case you might not have known, which would be rather impressive, the greatest rapper alive Kendrick Lamar’s new album DAMN. is the number one LP in America right now and is being bumped by pretty much every hip-hop head on the planet. The whole album has deep life messages and themes and is one of the most impressive musical pieces of art that I’ve heard in quite some time. Basically Kendrick Lamar is an incredible musician (duh), but holy shit so is Louis Futon.
If you haven’t heard of this incredible young producer than you really are missing out. Hailing from Philadelphia, His music spans a whole range of electronic sounds and he keeps you guessing with every new track released. If you just check his Soudcloud you’ll find a vast collection of incredible remixes and originals that will you take you on a truly emotional roller-coaster journey.
This newest track, a remix for none other than Kung Fu Kenny, is simply breathtaking. He samples the vocal chops from the song perfectly and crafts his own spacey beat complete with perfect drums and guitar licks that fit around the hauntingly beautiful hook in a way only Louis Futon could craft. Thankfully he was kind enough to release this gorgeous beat for free!!!!
