We have some newbies to TSS this week. Lux Pacific just released his infectious electronic spin on LA-based alternative band The Federal Empire’s track “The American Dream”. The remix showcases Lux Pacific’s production skills and ability to transform an indie hit into an undeniable dance track.
Both artists are LA-based and pretty new to the scene. Chad Wolf and McKay Stevens started off writing hits for Kaskade, Seven Lions, and Martin Garrix but then moved on to create their solo project The Federal Empire. Their debut EP reached the top 10 in Spotify US and Viral charts in October. Lux Pacific, whose name was inspired by a joyride along PCH with hitchhikers, just released his debut EP Currents a few weeks ago. 2017 is going to be a big year for these guys.
