Mike WiLL Made-It Drops Ransom 2; Compilation Includes Lil Wayne, Pharrell, Kendrick Lamar & Many More

As a producer the work you put in to making a song what it is may sometimes get overlooked. When it comes to making a beat for somebody else to use, most people only remember the artist rapping or singing. Establishing a name for yourself to the general public can thus be pretty difficult without the proper backing. Originality and range are key in an era where it seems like everything has already been done. Mike WiLL Made-It has been around for a while now and he remains relevant because he embodies these two very crucial aspects of producing.

The Atlanta phenom has produced various Billboard Top 100 hits such as “Black Beatles” by Rae Sremmurd, “Mercy” by G.O.O.D. Music, “Bandz A Make Her Dance” by Juicy J and many more. His list of rapper co-signs is extensive and extremely impressive but his range has also allowed him to collab with top female recording artists, like: Beyonce, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus & Ciara.

In his second installment of Ransom, Mike WiLL Made-It uses his clout to pull together what is a star studded list of features. Fans have been waiting on this ever since the first edition surfaced way back in 2014 and after all of the unexpected delays, it’s finally here! Although a handful of the songs were released prior to the scheduled date, this album has plenty more to offer. My personal favorite off of Ransom 2 is “Aries (YuGo)” with Pharrell and his rapping personality, Station Wagon P. There’s like five or six bangers on this one though so give it a listen and let us know what you think!
