Lollapalooza Announces Stellar 4-Day Lineup

Lollapalooza Announces Stellar 4-Day Lineup
Chad Hirsch

As always in record fashion, Lollapalooza has managed to sell out of weekend(4 Day) wristbands in just minutes time. This year Lollapalooza takes place August 3rd-6th and is always located at beautiful Grant Park in the heart of downtown Chicago. First of all, massive shout out to Chance The Rapper making it as the first billed headliner. After all he’s done for Chicago, this is by far the perfect way to celebrate all of his accomplishments. Electronic music wise, this year has got some incredible talent.

High up on the list is Justice making their triumphant return back to Lollapalooza. Kaskade, DJ Snake, and Zeds Dead all have landed what looks to be prime spots as well. Seeing the name Porter Robinson made me cry inside, and now I am praying that he get’s a shot on one of the main stages. High up on the list for Hip Hop, besides Chance, you’ve got Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, Rae Sremmurd, and Lil Uzi Vert. Also, Migos will be in attendance, and I’m pretty sure the entire festival is going to be waiting in the crowd to rock out to ‘Bad And Boujee.’

Skimming down the list, the lineup is full of great acts. Perry’s stage, where most of the electronic music happens, is sure to be jam packed all day long. Skimming up and down you’ve got Borgore, DVBBS, NGHTMRE, Ookay, Slander, A-Trak, and San Holo with tons more in between. Of course this festival does cater to a massive variety of music so here are some other great notable acts this year that I’ll be checking out. Blink 182, The XX, Cage The Elephant, Andrew McMahon And The Wilderness, and Bishop Briggs. Check out the lineup below, and get all your ticket info here.
