Hailing from New York is Gromo. He has a new tune out called Give Me. It’s an Urban Electronic track that features eclectic sounds. It’s a free download too. Not only that I got a short interview about him.
TSS: What got you into Electronic Dance Music?
G: My favorite genre of music was metal. Years ago Skrillex’s music got me into EDM. Discovering innovative artists like Sam Gellaitry, Cashmere Cat, Flying Lotus, and Flume all motivated me to experiment with different electronic sounds.
TSS: What are some of your inspirations?
G: My main inspirations are from a lot of hip-hop and R&B artists and producers like 2Pac, R. Kelly, Scott Storch, Benny Blanco, The Neptunes, Metro Boomin, Prince, and Michael Jackson.
TSS: What are your goals for this year?
G: Release my first vocal EP as well as produce music for up and coming artists.
TSS: Who would you like to collab with someday?
G: I would love to do a collaboration with Travis Scott. He is such a unique artist who is adding musicality and lyrical meaning to the popular “trap” sound.
