a.todo is a new wave hip-hop / R&B artist, who brings a smooth, yet edgy sound to his debut EP, NY2NO. This senior biology student at Tulane shows us his passion and talent for music, while giving us a close look at his experiences traveling from New York to New Orleans. The EP showcases his unique flow and raw vocals which complement the diverse, yet fire production from CHRIS JVCKSON. All of the songs are unique; combining genres of trap/R&B/hip-hop and rap, but together have a cohesive sound throughout the short but sweet project.
I recommend listening through the whole tape – ‘flip a switch’ and ‘demons’ will certainly make an impression. This duo is really talented with major potential, let’s hope to see more music from them in the future.
