Bentley Dean Urges You To Wake Up

Bentley Dean Urges You To Wake Up
Chad Hirsch

Bentley Dean, UK born residing in Chicago, is making some of the gnarliest dark music I’ve heard. Possibly the combination of UK and Chicago has played a unique role in his musical influence. For those fans of Mau5trap style music, ‘Wake Up’ is right up your alley. I noticed the use of analog sounds immediately creating for a super full enriching sound that is hard to find in a lot of electronic music coming out right now. The introduction makes me feel like I’m walking into some ritualistic ceremony, dark room lit by only candles, with a choir in the background. This track has intensity in all the right spots with emotion flowing throughout. You’ll be hearing this one at your local after hours party. Big things to come from Bentley Dean in the future.
