What happens when you have two explosive artist projects come together to form a new collaborative project? Pellican Child.
The new project is a hybrid of Chicago’s own Louis the Child who have been one of dance music’s favorite up-and-coming duo’s and Pell, the New Orleans rapper who has been making a stir with his dreamy aesthetic. For Pellican Child’s first single, “Turn Me Down,” the three artists definitely lay an emphasis on the hip-hop rather than dance but Louis the Child’s slight indie flair certainly comes to light in their production for Pell’s voice to gloss right over. It will certainly be interesting to see what evolves from this collaborative project as the trio continue to release more music.
