Lostboycrow, who first caught my attention with his sultry synth-infused R&B track “Talk Back To Me,” just released a craveable pop track titled “Stay a Little Longer.”
According to the LA-based artist; “[Stay a Little Longer] was written from the standpoint of being in the middle of an intimate and familiar relationship that is at the point of being tested to either fall apart in the flames of a short romance, or slowly dance in the burn of resolution.”
The relatable situation he describes and the overall feelz of the track are definitely part of the appeal, but so are his smooth vocals and the happy-go-lucky hook, comparable to a top 40 pop track, but IMHO better than that. The hints are trop-house are refreshing and his lyrics and vocals sound great. From pop to sexy R&B, Lostboycrow proves he’s capable of diversity across genres, and damn does he do it well.
