Wonderfruit in Thailand seriously looks like one of the coolest festivals that side of the Indian Ocean…or something. The event has many distinguishing factors including a stage made entirely out of harvested rice, a portion of ticket sales being donated to a reserve in Indonesia, an elevated presence of sustainability on-site AND a sick lineup. Seriously, sign us up.
Wonderfruit just announced their killer phase 2 artists, some new sustainability initiatives and their speaker series. Joining the phase 1 roster of Rudimental, Young Fathers, JUNUN and are global DJs including German techno aficionado and Herzblut Recordings founder Stephan Bodzin, All Day I Dream favorite YokoO, and fellow dance-inducing producers like Eric Volta, Uone, Marc Antona, Noxro, and Coran, as well as indie artists Shura, Lianne La Havas, Blitzen Trapper and Buke and Gase.
The music is just the start of Wonderfruit’s appeal. The festival also offers workshops on anything from boxing to yoga, to sustainability. There’s a stellar chef program with their Feast series, and a kids camp with tons of activities for the younger attendees. 4-day passes can be purchased currently for $160 on Wonderfruit’s website here.
