Over the past few months no one has been as under the radar and consistently great as Dustycloud has been. Quickly becoming one of the household names in the bass and dark house movement Dustycloud is back again with new original “Sometimes” which is out now via Confession. This marks Dustycloud’s second release on Confession, the first being his original “Blind” which came out a couple of months ago. “Sometimes” is a bit of an ode to the 90’s hip-hop scene with its groovy rhythm and vocal samples. Deep-pitched wobbling synths dominate the drop with drum snares sprung in throughout. The laid back feeling of the buildup leading into the energetic drop is bound to build the anticipation from crowds when this song is dropped live. There is nothing like hearing a slower buildup and getting the satisfaction of a monstrous and infectious drop.
This one is available for purchase or you can stream in full below. Dustycloud has been on a huge hot streak and each song has been just as good as the last. His more unique bass house sound has started to gain notoriety in the dance music world. With his music beginning to be played at festivals and shows around the world the rest of 2016 and 2017 is bound to be a big year for the Parisian based producer. So be on the watch for him the rest of this year and next year, especially with there being such a high possibility of him to start touring around that time. We know Tchami always has new stuff up his sleeve and artists he like to promote and bring on the road with him and Dustycloud is a safe bet to be the next artist to go under his wing.
