One the most forward thinking labels in existence, Zerothree Music, has released a remix EP with tracks to match that progressive thinking. Enter Paul Thomas and Jerome Isma-Ae‘s collaboration Tomorrow. This tune was remixed by the likes of Matt Fax, Richard Knott and Luke Chable. Each artist gave their own version of this collab and made it a unique sound that makes it feel like their own original versions, not just remixes. Let’s begin with the young Matt Fax remix.
The French producer delivers a progressive vibe that has that 80s synth style. The lead is an acid bass sound that really drives this track. Coupled with a carefully selected samples to really give this version that forward thinking ideology, this remix is spectacular.
The next version is by Richard Knott and this has that classic progressive house vibe. I love the lead as it has the harsh bass sound but it’s combined with arpeggios, crisp piano and punchy drums. His sound design and arrangement really make this track pop.
The final remix and my personal favorite of the 3 is by Australian producer Luke Chable. This one is a bit more livelier as it feels more Electro than Progressive House but it’s definitely exciting. The breakdown has a Progressive Trance feel while also having a Progressive House vibe too. Then the buildup leads you to a hard hitting drop that will make clubgoers and festival attendees dance like nobody is watching. The EP is out now on Beatport and if you have Spotify you can check it out on there.
