Brian Poles

This weekend in Reno, starting on May 6 and going through to May 8 is their 2nd-annual Sculpture Fest which is a weekend filled with art, music and culture. Over the course of the weekend 12 blocks of downtown Reno will be shut down to host over 30 monstrous and beautiful sculptures, interactive art pieces, food trucks, live music, and more. So to better put it, there is something there for everyone.

Artists from all over the country come to this to showcase their work this weekend and to dazzle the public with their best pieces. Their will be live painters painting murals to the main attraction which are the numerous sculptures scattered throughout the downtown area.

Apart from the artists there will also be music hosted throughout the weekend whether it’s the free live bands who will be playing, a silent-disco or the late-night after shows with names like Kill the Noise, Luzcid, Big Freedia and more.

So if you are in the area make sure to come out this weekend for what will be a good time with great art, music and vibes and you can find all the info from their website below or their Facebook event page.
