Hangout Music Festival Continues To Exceed Our Expectations [Event Review]
Jeaux Bay

Each year people from all over the world travel to the beaches of Gulf Shores to experience one of the best weekends in North America. Hangout Music Festival is not only a music festival, it is a weekend filled with unexpected moments on and off stage. You will make new friendships, soak in the sun rays, body surf the ocean, and see the most sought after musicians in the world. Personally, this is my favorite festival on earth and if you haven’t been, 2017 is the last year you should be missing out on all the fun.

You may ask, “What if it rains?” Hangout Festival organizers had lightning and rain storms all Thursday night and on through the better part of the day on Friday. They held off on opening the gates, but when they decided it was safe to proceed they did and no one looked back. The festival went smoothly till the very end, with the exception of Calvin Harris’ absence. This had nothing to do with the festival and was due to a violent car crash Mr. Harris was involved in. He is fine and all is well. Panic of the Disco took over the closing spot and delivered what some would say, the best performance of the festival. Check out the daily festival recap videos for a visual of what to expect next year. We will be there and look forward to seeing your smiling faces!
