It’s not every day a song catches me by surprise… and in a good way. This latest tune from Axel Boy and Maxx Baer had me backing up and retracing my steps to hitting play again. While both have a few melodic tunes under their belt, it was the use of funk and sexy synths that had my head turning and hips swaying. “Golden Era” has it’s Big Gigantic and Griz”esque” feels, but with a little more snare and a heavy helping of turn up.
