Benji Lewis’ Debut Hearts & Halos EP Is An Emotional Masterpiece

Benji Lewis’ Debut Hearts & Halos EP Is An Emotional Masterpiece
Garret

Australia’s Benji Lewis is quickly emerging as a gifted force within music, and he’s proving this with his emotive debut Hearts & Halos EP. The songs on the EP have slowly been unveiled one-by-one, along with the inspirations behind them. Two of the songs, “Why” and “Never Leave You Lonely,” were inspired by an exciting, but short-lived relationship that caused anger and confusion for Benji, while “Reach You Where You Are” and “Night & Day” were created in the months following his mother’s passing after battling cancer. With these significant and unfortunate events, Benji was able to channel all of his adversity into creating music, and it shows with the raw power that is felt throughout each song on the release. Enjoy the EP below and keep tabs on Benji Lewis as he is already on a steep upward trajectory. Buy the EP on iTunes and stream on Spotify.
