Following up our last article on Point Blank’s music school, we return this week to talk more about what you can gain from attending. Over the 8 weeks that I took this course I learned some valuable skills that I don’t think I would have learned by watching YouTube videos and screening the net for tips. This native instruments sound design course will help you take your production skills to the next level. Going into detail on how to create an electronic snare, hi-hat and clap. What settings to use and why they are important. Then the course discusses time stretching and how grains are the bits of data that need to be controlled in order to not affect the quality of the audio file.
Here is a video about DJing, using Serato and a visual masterclass via PB and DJ Yoda. You can see the quality is top notch, just like the class. If you are on the fence about the native instruments feel free to check out the other courses they offer.
