Andy Joplin and Jerrod Jordan aka Kicks N Licks are starting off February strong with some fresh new tunes for all of their fans. We at TSS have been really digging the San Diego based duo for quite some time now, and as they continue to drop epic tune after epic tune, it’s really no wonder why.
Although Kicks N Licks have typically been known in the past for their bass productions, their more recent experimentation with a lighter sound has absolutely blown me away. Their latest release, a remix of Ember Island’s cover of The Weeknd’s “I Can’t Feel My Face” would make you think that the duo are seasoned veterans in this sound production. The track still holds true to Ember Island’s dreamy rendition, but eventually transforms into a beautiful, hard hitting future bass dance anthem.
