Fight Night’s debut EP, The Underground, is an impressive piece of music. It’s emo and punk rock influence is clear but what really stuck out to me was the potency of the electronic production and the deep meanings in the lyrics. Stand out track on the EP, aside from the two already-released singles, is “Keep Me In Your Heart” which has one of the catchiest chorus’ I’ve heard so far this year. This is genre-molding music that may confuse you at first, but after one full listen through you will be back for more. Fight Night is bound to do some big things in 2016, and I’m glad I can call myself an early supporter because look at acts like Krewella and Crywolf who’ve stood their ground and created something unique – big things to come for these two.
