While LA-based AFSHeeN may not sound too familiar in the world of electronic dance music but what if I told you he produced for the likes of Madonna and Chris Brown, I’m sure that would catch everyone’s attention. Well, after being one of the hottest names in the music industry behind the scenes, he is finally prepared to reveal his own electronic-orientated project starting with the release of “Let Me Down Slow”.
“When I work with other artists, my role is to help bring their vision to life, and do so with a mentality that ‘Song is king’. But I learned early on that as freeing as electronic music can be, it can also be very limiting when trying to serve the song. For my own project, I strived for years to find the perfect balance between songs I write, and my love of old-school and deep electronic elements.” – AFSHeeN
