Today is the day. Yes it’s Friday but it’s also the day that Tycho’s Awake Remixes album is out on Ghostly International. With nine remixes from producers including Com Truise, RJD2, Nitemoves, Dusty Brown and more, I knew this album was going to be gorgeous before even hitting play on the tracks.
These nine remixes take you on an incredible sound journey from start to finish. Though the tracks are familiar to those who have listened to Awake, the remixes breathe new, unfamiliar and wondrous life into each song. The ambient, downtempo melodies are beautiful, and each track evokes an incredible amount of emotion. Picking a favorite is pretty impossible, so I suggest listening from start to finish and letting your heart decide. Enjoy ~
