When the UK duo, 99 Souls came out with their song “The Girl is Mine” we didn’t think life could get any better. We were eventually proven wrong though because the music video has surpassed all expectations. “The Girl is Mine” incorporates a mash-up of Destiny’s Child’s song “Girl” and Brandy’s song “The Boy is Mine,” while still adding their own twist. The song was an instant hit and the music video is no different.
The music video, directed by Sandl, follows a man on his journey to eventually win over a girl. As the man goes from place to place he seems to be the only one moving forward, as everyone else is in reverse. These awesome effects only add to the song and the music video is completely mesmerizing. Check it out below and enjoy!
