Pierce Fulton & Puppet Unchain ‘Boy and the Beast’

It’s always nice to see producers step out of their comfort zone and switch things up a bit and Monstercat’s latest release from Pierce Fulton and Puppet.

‘Boy and the Beast’ is a four and a half journey through sound. Opening with the calming crunch of footsteps in the snow, rustling winds, followed by an array of bells and chord progressions the track quickly morphs into an extremely dark, explosive electro masterpiece. This collaboration is HUGE, my friends. Sit back, relax and prepare to got for a ride.

“Our song ‘Boy and the Beast’ sort of started as a fun little test because I remember sending the idea to Brendan and I was like “I challenge you to work with me on something in a minor key”. As many of you know, a lot of Puppet’s music is very major and very uplifting so when we developed this dark and intense song together we had such a crazy time diving into a sound neither of us had really explored before.” – Pierce Fulton
