Summer may be over, but that hasn’t stopped Felix Jaehn from bringing a little bit of sunshine to your November. After dominating the global charts with his remix of “Cheerleader,” the German sensation has been at the top of his game for quite some time now, and he’s showing off his tastemaking ability to the world with an official “Book of Love” remix EP featuring re-imaginations by future house up-and-comers, Mr. Belt & Wezol, deep house maven, Mike Mago, and the emerging pianist, Chris Meid.
Each of the three artists spins their own unique take on the tropical house anthem, and all of them are just as good as the last. Mr. Belt & Wezol infuse “Book of Love” with their trademark future house flair, while Mike Mago takes the tune to the underground into a pool of swirling bass. Chris Meid’s take on the track is the most surprising, as he strips down the track into a beautiful orchestral arrangement with a soaring piano melody and string accompaniments.
