Apashe Delivers Heavy Bass Music With ‘Tank Girls’ EP

Apashe Delivers Heavy Bass Music With ‘Tank Girls’ EP
Christos Schrader

Apashe’s ‘Tank Girls’ EP marks his first original material in several months, and he is back with a vengeance. Originally from Belgium but currently residing in Montreal with the majority of his Kannibalen Records labelmates, Apashe always delivers heavy bass music of the highest quality, and this release is no exception.

The title track features beautiful vocals from previous Apashe collaborator Zitaa, and shifts between slow, comparatively low key trap beats and absolutely bonkers house drops that toe the line between electro and tech-house. The B-side, “Commander,” features Montreal rapper Panther, who has been featured extensively on Kannibalen tracks from various artists stretching back to the beginnings of the label. His badass lyrics are set against a heavy trapstep beat that reaffirms Apashe’s place among the very best producers when it comes to mashing up these two genres.

Overall, this is another dope release from Apashe, and we’re stoked to hear more of the same soon! Check it out below.
