Hip hop and dubstep fans alike rejoiced together as underground legend Tech N9ne linked up with dubstep heavyweight Excision for an epic crossover collab called “Road Kill”. The song was featured on Tech’s recently released and highly acclaimed album “Special Effects” and has been a staple in X’s sets since the drop.
Some videos were circulating around from a past show in Kansas City (Tech’s hometown) where Tech N9ne and his partner Krizz Kaliko took the stage during a sold out Excision show in front of the now infamous “Exicutioner” stage. While some might be satisfied with the grainy, bass clipping low audio quality, shot 3 rows behind the moshpit shot from a fans phone on that fateful night, Monster Energy Drinks took it a step further and made a killer live visual of the live on stage moment.
Simple, but effective, this video narrates the story of Tech linking up with X for a secret spot on his set, and then them proceeding to annialte the audience. With Tech’s legendary and demonic performance style paired along with the flashing visuals, blasting bass and somewhat controlled sanity that is an Excision show, along with some trippy visuals and smash cuts from each angle of the stage, this video is an all out assault on each one of your senses in the best way possible.
