With dance music’s popularity reaching an all-time high, it seems like everyone is trying to capitalize on the growing genre, and more and more new music festivals are appearing overnight with the hopes of becoming the next Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, or Ultra. While many, like the Hudson River Project, struggle to meet the requirements of throwing a great festival, others, like Electric Paradise, become massive successes by delivering an unique blend of music, art, technology, and food on its way to becoming the biggest music festival of the region.
On December 19th, Electric Paradise will be returning to the Dominican Republic, touching down on the shores of Cap Cana in Punta Cana for its 2015 festival. For the second running of Electric Paradise, the theme will be “Lucy Dreams of Paradise,” and the DR-based festival will be the official festival of paradise, featuring multiple stages and multiple genres.
