5 & A Dime Explores New Territory On New Free Track, “Rush”
Garret

It’s always great to hear artists evolving their sound, and one of Philadelphia’s finest, 5 & A Dime, is doing just that on his new original. The last we heard from this rising producer was his bomb, “Pulse,” which has amassed over 100,000 plays on SoundCloud. Now, 5 & A Dime is coming through with another mind-blowing tune, “Rush.” On this new track, he blends an array of distorted synths and industrial accents over a low-end focused house beat, before dropping into a surprising, trap-like sequence and bringing it back to the main phrase. Put simply, 5 & A Dime nailed this one as he showcased a new dimension of his sound by dropping the BPM in the bridge section, opening it up for the more hip-hop-leaning dance fans. No wonder why he has artists like DJ Snake supporting him! Listen below and download it here.
