The UK garage movement has seen a revitalization in the last year with names like Disclosure, My Nu Leng and others getting into the beat and pumping out some stellar tracks. Well now we have another name to add to the mix and that is Zak Mendoza, otherwise known as Inkline. Inkline is a 21 year old producer out of Brighton in the UK who throws down some killer garage and 2 step beats. He released a collab “Fiyah” with UK bass legends Taiki Nulight earlier in the year and now he is back, premiering his debut EP “Come Again” with us here at TSS.
This EP consists of two tracks, “Come Again” and “Don’t Call Me.” Both tracks feature groovy rhythms and heavy bass with a 2 step undertone. These songs are perfect for those late nights where you are just trying to get your vibe on at the club and fall into rhythm with the music. The ability of Mendoza to create a balance between the bass-heavy garage and club sound that is coming out of the UK, but in his own unique style, shows off in these tracks. The beats can easily get stuck in your head making you keep coming back to listen more. The EP is out now via Audiophile XXL and is available to purchase on iTunes and Beatport so hop on over there to grab these two bangin’ tracks and make sure to give our man Inkline a follow on social media to keep up with all his future work. You can also stream the EP in full below. Happy listening!
