London born producer prodigy, Oshi, has shared his redo of gallant’s smash hit Weight In Gold. It’s not hard to see why this will be one of the most remixed tracks of the year, when those emotionally charged, range defying vocals come on.
Oshi steps up to bat and knocks it out of the park with this redo, crafting a chilled out, future forward bassline to bring out the vocal sample. Adding in a perfectly timed drum sequence and some subtle synthesizer action, he pulls back at just the right time to let the lyrics shine.
Fresh off his Beats1 Radio debut, Oshi is definitely a producer to keep up with this year.
