Anyone that follows social media would have seen Skrillex and other internationally known DJs making the nap pose as a sign of support to the Nap Girls, a creative collaborative collective of women promoting gender equality in dance music.
NIGHTOWLS are high on our list of acts to watch for this year, and their latest track is a collaboration with another rising star, Sam F, and a huge shout out to the Nap Girls, who have been some of their largest supporters on their rise to stardom this year. Not only is this a hard hitting, undeniably catchy bass house tune with some choice bars from Sam, but it’s a sign of support for gender equality in an industry that still to this day makes it hard for women to break into and succeed at with their male peers.
