Washington, D.C. is filled with talented musicians pushing the limits. One of those rising stars is Royal and his Cycles EP kicked off this year in perfect form. “Passenger” was a viral hit and a personal favorite in my collection. “Round Two” feat. Desktop is also a must hear. Fast forward 6 months and you an upgrade from some of the hottest rising producers in the scene via Octal Sound.
Hotel Garuda consisting of Manila Killa and Candle Weather remixed “Passenger” and loved their electronic take. Jai Wolf (personal favorite from the remix EP) also took on “Passenger” and delivered some chill trap vibes. There are two more remixes from Lazerdisk & Dream Beach and Catt Moop.
