Back in 2009, Fatboy Slim took Wildchild’s “Renegade Master” for a modern spin at the time. It was funky, it was party-ready, and it was just a good time in its entirety. Setting the stage for the label to be an outlet for bass-driven house selections, “Renegade Mastah” is a perfect example of where the old meets the new. There’s currently a movement taking place among some artists to bring back the gritty, old-school house sound but with a current production twist.
