2015 is the year of Prydz. Back in spring Eric Prydz announced he would be dropping three EP’s over the course of July, August, and September of his back catalog of tracks that he has been playing for years now, all leading up to the release of his debut album in October. Prydz has been known for playing many ‘IDs’ during his live sets and now those songs are about to come to light and the wait is finally over.
Today Prydz dropped “Pryda Vol. 1” containing four long-awaited tracks of his. “Rebel XX,” “Run,” “Loving You,” and “Neuron” which are now available for you to stream or purchase them in all their glory.
“Rebel XX” and “Run” are two huge tech/progressive house dance floor movers which were previously known as “Shrine ID” and “Firestone ID.” These tracks have been circulating the internet for what seems like ages now. “Loving You” and “Neuron” were both revealed this weekend during the debut of Apple’s One Mix where Prydz was graced with spinning the first ever mix to kick off the series. These two tracks have that traditional Pryda progressive and uplifting feeling to them which can put a smile on any face.
This is only the beginning for Prydz as we have another three months of new releases that we are all highly anticipating. Hopefully these four tracks will hold you over until next month when “Pryda Vol. 2” will be released. Until then, enjoy!
