After another epic year at Lightning In a Bottle, I was definitely starting to catch some post-festival blues as I made my way back home to the Bay Area. Only two weeks had gone by since leaving my favorite adult playground and I couldn’t help but be itching for more of The Do Lab’s epic dance parties. The Woogie stage was practically home base for my friends and I this year at LIB. From its beautiful set up to the groovy vibes, it’s no surprise that the Woogie is consistently a favorite among attendees. Thankfully, the music gods have answered all of our prayers and The Do Lab is coming back with their first ever Woogie Weekend festival this upcoming July.
Woogie Weekend is happening Friday July 17th – Sunday July 19th at Lightning In a Bottle’s old home of Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, California. This camp out festival will be bringing back some 2015 LIB veterans such as Pumpkin and Jesse Wright as well as some fresh talent including J. Phlip, Autograf, Rüfüs Du Sol, and Gigamesh.
This event is exactly what I needed to spice up my July. You’re not going to want to miss this one…can’t wait to boogie at the woogie!
