Five Artists You Can’t Miss At Spring Awakening

Five Artists You Can’t Miss At Spring Awakening
Chad Hirsch

With not even a week away to Spring Awakening and the lineup being completely STACKED. We’ve got your back with a few choices to help make your schedule that much better!

First off on this list is Mija. Purely based on the show she’s going to put on, you CANNOT miss her set. The term “no genres” fits her style and there is truly no telling what to expect from her. Skills on the turntables are only part of her repertoire as she is great at creating her own music as well. Her track with Ghastly on “Crank It” and their remix of “Biggie Bounce” have seen mad support and are both incredible tracks. Be sure to check Mija out as she performs Friday on the Phoenix Stage from 5:00-6:00.

Next on the list we have Shiba San. Best known for his track released on Claude Von Stroke’s Dirtybird,”Okay” reached number one on Beatport and there was no looking back after. Shiba San kicked of his North American debut in Chicago a while back and has finally made his triumphant return on the Spring Awakening lineup. Get down with Shiba San on Friday from 6:00-7:00 on the Equinox Stage.

Third up coming from the UK is Hucci. With his unique take on trap music, you can’t miss out on him. At such a young age Hucci has already made a name for himself reaching millions of playsHe doesn’t make his way around the Chicago area often so this could be one of your few chances to check him out.  Hucci is playing the Phoenix Stage on Sunday from 6:15-7:15

After Hucci on the list comes Antics. This young hot duo coming from Wisconsin has been killing it as of lately. Their remix of “Sea Of Voices” and latest track “Konnichiwa” with Juno Moss shows promise in their future. For those into that progressive, electro house sound then you can’t miss out on these guys. They also are direct support opening for the Martin Garrix after party happening Friday night. Antics performs Sunday 2:00-3:00 at the Equinox Stage

Last on the list is going to the local hard hitter Stratus. His last few releases have shown how versatile his production is, using his unique sound design styles to create all different types of tracks.  Playing at the dedicated Bass Kitchen, make sure to stop by and see Stratus from 3:40-4:30 as he opens for Grandtheft.

After party info also came out with some dope events as well. All ticket information can be found here.
