Created by Doug Bogan and Mike Koziel, the documentary “Heard But Not Seen” has been several months in the making and features interviews with industry staples ranging from Kap Slap to Clayton Warwick of The Music Ninja to Karl Detken, who worked at Pioneer and had a hand in bringing the CDJ to popularity.
Offering on-camera interviews with people from all facets of the dance music industry, most of whom rarely get the chance to have their voice heard, this documentary gives a ton of insight into what goes on behind the scenes at major shows and festivals.
They also are working with Cadence & Cause, a new website that uses Kickstarter-style rewards to connect musicians to worthy charitable causes, to help provide people in under-developed countries with clean water filters. Check out “Heard But Not Seen” below, and donate to the cause here.
