A drum n bass bootleg of the most talked about track of 2014, “Faded” by Zhu, has finally graced the internet thanks to English duo, Delta Heavy. I’ve been salivating over this tune since first hearing it on the RAM Records Tour in DC, and I’m not the only one. The crowd went absolutely mental, harder than they went all night, which speaks volumes at a dnb show.
As always, they manage to produce a track as beautiful and powerful as it is hard and relentless. This is a killer tune infused with their signature sound – that dark, pulsating bass line that just screams DELTA HEAVY! Showing their production chops, they maintain the integrity of the original, leaving the vocals and most of the melody intact as they turn up the tempo. The beauty is in the buildup as they pair those infamous vocals with an orchestral intro that transitions flawlessly into a drop so heavy it could only come from, well, Delta Heavy.
