“When Will I Stop Dreaming” is the next single from Cadenza of Major Lazer fame. The UK producer has been hard at work developing his label, the Full Hundred, feeding it with free releases like this.
This track is incomparably smooth with phenomenal lines from long-time collaborator Kiko Bun and majestic vocals by Loyle Carner. The soul of this mix lies in the jungle-infused drum sequence that propels the vocals forward. This is instrumental hip hop at its finest- so fine that the Queen of the Air Ways herself, Annie Mac, debuted it on her radio show for their “Free Music Monday” series.
Cadenza is definitely an artist to watch, and keep an eye out for his label, it’s going to be big 2015 for both of them.
