Weekly Rising Talent: Slap Pack Vol. 17
Nelie D

Hello guys and welcome to this week’s Weekly Rising Talent: Slap Pack series, wherein we feature the top tracks that captured our full attention and clearly stood out amongst all the other songs, which we have received and reviewed over the course of the week.

Let’s get right to it! Here are the top songs (in no particular order) that made the cut in this week’s Slap Pack Vol. 17:

Joe Maz and Adam Foster, DJ/Producers based in Miami, Florida starts this week’s slap pack off with a highly infectious take on Ciara’s hit song “1, 2 Step”. The added step that they seamlessly layered in pushed the energy of the original to a whole new level giving it a deep groove that could get you moving in a matter of seconds. An overall solid throwback track that could get the nostalgia feels flowing right off the bat.

Jimmy Duval and Jeff Molner, up-and-coming Miami based DJ/Producers, takes on one of Biggie’s classic hit, “Party & Bullshit”, and gives it a modern twist. It still has a hint of the essence of the original that we all loved but they kept it fresh and in line with the modern music taste by layering in some dope heavy synth work, which can surely get you rolling all night.

5howtime Music releases a banging new original called, “Window” by Alien In The Attic, aka AIA, from Orlando, and Brav0 from Los Angeles. This east meets west collaboration track lets loose an insane energy with its contrasting elements of thrusting bass and smooth melody that can really awaken your senses and get you all fired up for all the right reasons.

Gianmarco Morales is back with yet another mix that gets the vibes flowing right from the get go. This time he hits us with his very own rendition of Ferry Corsten’s “Back To Paradise”. Get ready for a harmonious journey intelligently crafted and arranged by this DJ/Producer hailing all the way from Dominican Republic. If you liked it as much as I did, go ahead and show him some love by voting for him here when it opens April 2.

Kids Want Techno is at it again and hits us with yet another vibeful track, a remix of ODESZA’s “Say My Name”. This sickening production definitely did not fail to warm up the overall atmosphere. A nice track to get lost in and just soak up the positivity that it gives off. The perfect feel good track to wrap-up the slap pack this week.
