Wale Explains What Hopeless Really Is On His New Track “The Pessimist” With J. Cole
Evan Walters

Two of the bigger names in hip-hop at the moment on the same track? Yes, please. The DC native Wale takes a step back from the regular rap about clubs, drugs & women to preach about some real life stuff. Refreshing to hear that somebody of his stature actually knows and cares about what’s going on outside of himself. This is not the first time Wale & Cole have combined their equally great abilities to make a masterpiece. If you are at all familiar with any of their past collaborations then you’re already hip to the nature of this track. Wale lays down two verses speaking out about the on going struggles in the world and J. Cole comes in with a smooth hook to make this an instant classic. These two are both making huge moves currently that can not be ignored. Cole is in the midst of a world tour in support of his third studio album 2014 Forest Hills Drive which, if I might add, did exceptionally well. Wale is set to release his fourth studio album The Album About Nothing on March 31st, it is currently available for pre-order on iTunes.
