With all of the craziness surrounding Jack U and Skrillex’s OWSLA label recently, some people are overlooking one of the biggest tracks of the year. Jamba, the OWSLA debut collaboration between Mexico’s Boombox Cartel & the UK’s Jackal, is an absolutely insane energy packed track that will make you want to jump up and down until your legs fall off. Pounding snare drums and a cut up vocal sample saying “bum ba dum bum” get the track hyped up from the start and build perfectly into a crazy snyth laced drop that was no doubt influenced by Valentino Khan’s crushing remix of Skrillex’s Recess. Throw in a drum rhythm change halfway through the second drop that makes you want to trap the hell out, and you have a proper festival destroyer. Having heard this track played out a few times this past weekend at Wobbleland, I can personally certify that it makes a crowd go absolutely insane. Check out the track below and be sure to pick it up from OWSLA when it comes out on March 17th.
