ETC!ETC! & Tha Trickaz Team Up To Make Some ‘Supa Hot Fire’
Nick Hailer

Firepower Records has added some ammo to their lineup with a few heavy hitters and their first release does not disappoint. Moombah/Trap master and robo- producer ETC!ETC! teams up with the enigmatic French duo The Trickaz to make “Supa Hot Fire” and it is just that…FIRE!

The emerging Hybrid trap sub-genre (Or real dubstep as it used to be called) is spawning some amazing crossover tracks combining the party synths and drums of trap and mixing them with grimey bass cuts. This song might become the new standard for hybrid trap with its pounding bass line, snapping trap drums, snarling bass and beaming laser samples that hit and blend so perfectly.

Hats off to Datsik and company because they are pulling in some top names to Firepower and turning out some amazing new tracks that are redefining bass music. With sub genres coming and going faster than ever, it’s nice to hear that heavy bass and gnarly music still has a place in this scene and it’s nice to see artist willing to combine styles to make it. So make sure to go check out that pre orders, get ready for what’s next but until then…Turn those speakers up!

Nick Hailer

I've been called "The Male Oprah Of DJ's", "The Mayor of Camp Bisco", and just plainly known and described as "That Is SoNick". Former member of the EDM/Mashup group Pulse FX (featured twice on ThisSongSlaps), I now spend my days soundcloud diving for new tracks at my full time job, frequenting concerts in the winter until it's festival season in the summer, and taking full advantage of my wife's family and friends discount at Guitar Center. Doesn't matter if it's a Glitch Mob show or Chadwick Stokes, you will most likely see me holding court in the smoking area or side stage talking endlessly on all things music. From everything to new tracks, new artists, production methods and performance styles, I have an opinion on everything and I have no problem sharing it.
