Barely Alive Unleashes Ferocious Mix for Disciple Recordings

Barely Alive, the mysterious duo who’ve collaborated heavily with Datsik‘s Firepower Records crew, was tabbed to do the next volume of the Disciple Recordings mix series. They smashed it to pieces.

An eclectic assortment of some of bass music’s freshest sounds mixed with such proficiency, it had to come from the UK. Showing love to the biggest labels in bass music – Rottun, Smog, Firepower, Never Say Die – they jammed 30 tracks into just 31 minutes for one of the most highly energized mixes I’ve heard in a while. Pay close attention as you reach the 25 minute mark, and they drop their VIP mix of a classic from the incomparable Doctor P. Do NOT miss these guys the next time they come to your city.
